Degrees? For what this is for a spousal interview not a student visa. NVC doesn't want or need degrees from anyone. Nor do you need at interview. It's irrelevant.

Typo sorry I was wondering if I should wait to send in info for the nvc or send the last trip to the interview

If you want the evidence to be in the hands of the CO before interview you need to send with your AOS/OV package. The interview s too late for new evidence. And Ghana really doesn't bother looking.

Hello everyone here.

I have question my case was completed on September-02-2016, my wife delivered a baby girl on September-07-2016.

1st question: Do I need add another affidavit of support?

2nd question: Should I call let NVC know or wait for my wife interview?

Hello! Congrats! Are you an American citizen? Is very easy to get your newborn an American citizen. Just follow the instructions on your country consulate. you program the date when you want it. (Is almost immediately) On my case we waited 3 weeks after the date and we received his passport and his abroad certificate. The interview for the baby is just for you to prove that is yours and that you are American. And the consul asked for the Mexican birth certificate, my husband social security statements for the last 5 years, our marriage certificate, the bill from the hospital where he was born, picture when I was pregnant with my husband and my pregnant ultrasounds. It was really easy. Your baby is an American citizen that was born abroad, so he/she doesn't need a green card because he/she already has the citizenship. Any question please message me.

I did sideload a few things--I made a trip to visit my husband, so I sent in the flight itinerary (the case was already at the NVC when I went to visit). I think I sent a couple of other pages of documentation, like my insurance showing him as the beneficiary. I just tucked it in with the IV/AOS packets. Meanwhile, my husband has prepared a portfolio to take with him to the interview if they want to see things there, including pictures from my trip as well as the originals of everything. I've heard that at some embassies, they only really look at what has been sent in and ignore any evidence the applicant takes to the interview.

12/14 Met at work in Rwanda

2/21/15 Became a couple

11/19/15 Married

11/23/15 I left Rwanda

12/30/15 Mailed I-130

1/06/16 NOA1

5/03/16 NOA2!

5/06/16 NVC received case

5/20/16 Case number assigned

5/23/16 Email from NVC with case number

5/23/16 Choice of Agent filled out, AOS fee invoiced and paid

5/31/16 Called NVC, reviewed I-261 over the phone

6/02/16 IV bill invoiced and paid

7/28/16 Finally! All police clearances and birth certificate received; mailed IV and AOS; filed I-260

8/04/16 Official scan date (tracking shows "delivered" the day before)

8/15/16 Visiting my husband! 10 days

9/01/16 Received checklist in error, claiming our application was on hold because of a waiver application we never filed

9/02/16 Sent for supervisor review, six week timeframe given

9/13/16 Sent for "document review", whatever that is, told the timeframe is now indefinite

9/20/16 Contacted US Representative Adam Smith's office for assistance (WA)

9/26/16 3 N/As and Case Complete!

11/14/16 Interview: approved pending medical! (Vaccines hadn't been available)

11/19/16 Visa received in passport

2nd Scan Date for a Checklist: August 15th. Hoping the review process is shorter this time.

When was your first one? And when did they tell you that you had the checklist?

On my case:

1st scan date Jun 07

Checklist August 10

2nd scan date August 16

"Fingers crossed"
