Wow that's long time. What does your file status say online? Mine changed to "sent to the department of state" yesterday.

Mine arrived at NVC three days after it changed to "case was sent to department of state". Keep calling to see when it was received. Then call again 14 days after they received it to get your case number.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

When they send your case to NVC, the status should change to "Case was sent to the Department of state". I would suggest to call USCIS and talk to Tier2 officer to see when are they going to send your case to NVC.

If yu case is over 30 days approved and still no update on USCIS (not all service centers update with "sent to Department of state". I would advise you to call USCIS and ask specifically this

1. I need to speak with tier 2 supervisor

2. "when did my petition physically leave the service center"?

If they said they sent on XX day then you can start on NVC's butt. Good luck. :goofy:

I just got off the phone with NVC. This time I was told that both cases (kids cr-2's) are under review. Previously, I have always been told that they have not yet been reviewed. I tried to question the guy on the phone about the difference in wording, but he would only repeat the same thing to me, "I can only see that the cases are under review".

Does anyone know if this means my cases are actually being looked at now and should be finished today or tomorrow???
