Thanks dreamtor

this is just a more work for us. they should let us know if we have to do it before interview. i get confused because normally they will ask for new police record if expires only. now with this new process i'm not sure if they will ask for all documents to be certified with apostille and translated again. its really a pain

I know. I'm waiting for my interview date. Then I'll email the consulate and ask if they need the apostille for only the police certificate or it's every document on file.

NOPE ON CEAC.STATE.GOV WEBSITE ???? :secret::secret::secret:

1ST SCAN WAS AUGUST 22,2016 WHEN THEY GOT IT FROM THE EMBASSY AND I JUST GOT ON THERE AND THE SCAN DATE WAS YESTERDAY ????

Those aren't scan dates, just means they "touched" your case. It doesn't mean anything. It'll be fine. They do go over your case before you get to the interview. It's nothing to worry about.

wow thanks alot for the help good luck

You're welcome - and thanks, good luck to you as well! Don't worry about those updated dates, it happens to all of us and it doesn't matter. I sometimes wonder if them moving it from one desk to another or one shelf to another also means it's been touched and the date changes LOL (I doubt it, but... these dates of when the case is touched sometimes appear a bit random, so I'm going with whatever it means, it's just them working on our papers). It will all be well!

Woohoo! Congratulations!

Hey there JFH!

I kinda lost track of you after my last trip to see my wife. I saw there were still some February filers still waiting - I can't imagine still being stuck at that stage.

It's been a weird day. I called the NVC and they said we had CC on 8/30 - YEA!!! But then I talked to someone that said Vietnam is very slow with scheduling and it could take 2-3 months just to receive the schedule, let alone the schedule date. We've been fairly lucky and been moving faster than most so I hope our luck continues.

Anyway, I see you are now waiting for CC. Congrats on all the momentum since last I saw! We waited just under 4 weeks. I believe you'll beat us to the promised land since the UK is much more speedy with interviews. Hope you get to see your husband soon!

Congratulations. I have added you to the spreadsheet. Check it out to see how long the wait . About 3 months from Case Complete is about the norm for your embassy.
