Timeline

Since we are about to enter the last week of the month and that is usually the time when NVC starts to schedule interviews for those with "case complete" and are on the waiting list. Has anybody been following previous months development on this and especially are they still sending out interview letters the same day?

--

How long after Case Complete will I get an interview?

2 last days of the month and finishing that following first week of next month.

Do I have to call for my interview date?

NVC has improved greatly since March. The interview letter now comes day of schedule.

--

Just starting to get excited for the WHEN answer... :content:

The wait time depends on your country.

Yes you can call NVC next week to see if your country started scheduling.

The wait time depends on your country.

I know that it also depends on that factor...

but a look at the spreadsheet indicates that most countries are steady in the 60 day range since CC with a few exceptions. So it depends more on the NVC routine as of when they start scheduling. The 9th of the month seems to be a threshold day, as anything before that many times got a date few days after and anything behind the 9th mostly towards the end of the month.

Hi,

It depends both on your country AND visa type. Your timeline shows EB-1 visa so it may depend on when your country's embassy is scheduling interviews for that type of visa and the number of available interview slots they have.

The spreadsheet indicates mostly spousal/fiance visas; you may find a few F-visas or like your EB1. Just keep in contact with NVC on an interview date.

Best of luck!

ALSO: Please create a Timeline so that you can be properly assisted on the forum....thanks! :)

hey guys does anyone know about registering for your appt interview appt. on the website

ais.usvisa-info.com so they know where to put your visa any help would help thanks

Hi,

I saw no one replied to you so let me try helping out :)

You can jump straight to this portion of the website: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ba/iv

Select "Register" and create the account by following the steps. This would help to do BEFORE your interview date as it allows the embassy to successfully have a delivery point for when the visa is printed and your passport successfully returned to you.

I did it with mine and I know others have as well. Let me know if you get through with it :)

Thats because NVC has not started scheduling yet. How about to read at least one page of previous posts first?

We were exactly talking about that. -_-

Thanks, I hope they treat us all the same. My visa type is rare yes. From the very few I see in the spread sheet they seem to get the same time frames though.

Will find out soon...

I am very relaxed, more then you as it seems and also CC 9th.

25th October was the beginning of the last week of the month. So ours starts this upcoming Monday for September. If you mean CC "before" your friend and that person was somewhat close to the 25th then all is as supposed to be. They are just closer to the announcement cycle. However ignoring the possibility of a delay because of your consulate/ embassy being a busy post, you will not loose days. Average is 60 days since CC. Your friend then only knows the interview date a bit earlier, but most of us get them the same time ahead. RELAX! Whatsuplife! :D

Ok, I made the right decision in pre-registering my husband to pick-up his visa packet at MOA then :) My husband lives in Pangasinan so for sure it would take forever for his visa to arrive if we just had it delivered. Thank you for answering my questions & Congrats again!

Heya :)

Just a follow up question, if in any case I choose to pick up the visa at MOA how many days does it take to be ready? :)
