I have been trying that link but it keep saying (error) ?

Have you received your SSN card ?

You can only track the card once it goes to production. Apparently you'll get an error message until then. I guess that's when they actually input your info in their system.

Cateogory: CR1

  • NOA1/Notice of receipt: Sept. 15, 2015
  • NOA2/I130 Approved: February 8, 2016 (NO RFE) :)
  • Process slowed down by us
  • Sent documents to NVC: April 11, 2016
  • Scan date: April 14/ May 7th (NVC said both I dont know why)
  • Case Complete: May 31, 2016 (No checklist) :dancing:

August 17, 2016: Visa Approved!!!! :dancing:

Why do you need to contact senator? You requested a supervisor review? How long ago was that?

I just had my CR-1 interview in Montreal Canada and was APPROVED! I luckily had #8!

So happy to have all this stress behind me!!!

USCIS Process:

Sent I-130 (via Canada Post): Feb 29, 2016

NOA1 hardcopy received: March 16, 2016

NOA2 approval text & email: June 9, 2016

Case number and IIN Assigned: July 5, 2016

Choice of Agent (DS-261) completed: July 6, 2016

IV application (DS-260) completed: July 12, 2016

Interview: September 19, 2016 APPROVED!

POE: October 31, 2016

Thank you so much. When I moved to the US in 2000 as an immigrant we got madical insurance through the state H&W. But till my parents got jobs with benefits. I thought becuase my husband has a joint sponsor he does not qualify cuz the sponsor is liable for his expenses since I live abroad and we used her income. We will need any kind insurance if I do not get a job right before we move. It is very difficult since we have to get lots of stuff done when we get there since we both are here abroad.

OK, now I understand your original question--you asked "will I be able to get medical insurance at least for my girls", and what you meant was "will I be able to get medicaid" (government-sponsored medical insurance). How long it takes to get signed up for Medicaid, and whether you qualify, depends on the state. You're right (as far as I understand) that your husband can't get medicaid, but he can get private insurance. I would start checking now for the medicaid requirements and process in the state you're moving too--everything should be online, although as a PP said, it can be better to apply in person if possible; a lot of the online systems for applying are a mess. But at least you'll know exactly what to do when you get there.

6/02/16 IV bill invoiced and paid

7/28/16 Finally! All police clearances and birth certificate received; mailed IV and AOS; filed I-260

8/04/16 Official scan date (tracking shows "delivered" the day before)

8/15/16 Visiting my husband! 10 days

9/01/16 Received checklist in error, claiming our application was on hold because of a waiver application we never filed

9/02/16 Sent for supervisor review, six week timeframe given

9/13/16 Sent for "document review", whatever that is, told the timeframe is now indefinite

9/20/16 Contacted US Representative Adam Smith's office for assistance (WA)

9/26/16 3 N/As and Case Complete!

11/14/16 Interview: approved pending medical! (Vaccines hadn't been available)

11/19/16 Visa received in passport

12/09/16 POE Seattle

03/06/17 Green card received (address changed after POE, no problem)

5/2017 Our baby is due

So I am confused what to bring to the visa interview...

Do I just follow what the NVC told us to bring in the email? It said my husband only needs to bring his passport and passport photos.

I see many people on here bring many more documents so I am worried.

I called the US embassy here in Japan and they said to follow the NVC's instructions but also to bring the DS-260. How do I get that?

When you filled out the Visa application (DS-260) a confirmation email was sent. That's what is needed for the interview.

im trying to check the ceac website and it said application error has anyone experienced this with the ceac website

As far as I know good. I am at work will find out when I get home. He competed everything and there where no problems.
