I got our interview appointment for 10/31!! A Halloween interview lol

How long do they take to send the interview package email? I never got any emails about my case complete so I'm worried. I have no idea what to prepare for the interview!

Also, is there any requirements you need in order to schedule a medical? Since we got our interview can we go ahead and schedule it?

It usually take one week for the interview appointment email. You will need this letter when you go for medical exam, but you can schedule the exam without the letter. I would suggest to go ahead and schedule your exam and the letter will be here soon.

I got my interview date scheduled last Friday. I found out by calling them today.

It is scheduled for October 19th. Embassy is Mumbai; CC date: August 16th

I am so happy.... almost there.. I hope interview go smoothly as well.

I just called nvc and I found out that they scheduled for my husband's interview on last Friday. The interview is for Oct 31 at islamabad embassy in pakistan.

Here is my question, when should I call to confirm that they have sent my package to the embassy and when should I expect the email? Does anyone know what they do now?

They told me that they generate emails on Friday and that it takes a week to get the email.

I will call Friday if I don't get the email.

To determine if NVC has sent your case to the embassy, you can use the CEAC website (https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx). When it says that your case status is "in transit" it means that your case is on its way; when it says "ready" it means that it has arrived at your embassy. You can check it daily. But if you'd prefer to really stay on top of things, you can call NVC to know exactly when they send it.

Congratulations. O have updated you. No need to conform when they sent. Packages are sent out usually 3 to 4 weeks before interview. Just monitor your Visa track status.

Just a Question came to my mind

for the interview when you submit your tax information IRS tax return, form 1040s, W2, and tax schedules, will this be originals or copies?

Specially if you have Joint sponsor he/she can't give you Originals, we are submitting copies of the above because Joint Sponsor keeps originals for self

Its has been 49 days from my check list scan date and still no CC, when do you think ill get one?
