I called and our case was also transferred from Nebraska Service Center to Texas. When I asked why they said "the jurisdiction changed" - whatever that means? I see some folks who got transferred to Texas were told "for faster processing" which at least would have been encouraging to hear though at this point I think it's all BS. They just tell us whatever their script says or whatever they think to say at the moment. Given that all the service centers no matter the application type are apparently ALL processing cases dated July 28...I think whatever they say is nonsense. Makes no sense. Can they do anything else to make us feel like this process is nothing but arbitrary? *smh*

We are still waiting, but I don't have hopes that the letter will make it all the way to Zambia.  It took 3 months for us to get our NOA1 (and that was miraculous.  We just got a letter in the mail from the US that was post-dated from September 2015.  Hah, yes you read that right, 2015!)

 

Our notice (on the USCIS website) said after March 11, if we haven't received our letter, we can request a copy from them.  Not sure if anyone else got that information as well?

Did you call and ask where they sent your case?

 

My husband called and said they don’t know until we get a letter.

We didn't call, I saw a bunch of other posts that said the same thing (they didn't know until we received the letter) so I thought I would wait and see what happened.  Hopefully it comes through soon.  Best case scenario, we all get transferred to Texas.  They seem to be much faster.  But who knows!
