I am stuck at same place...as of today 5 months 5 days (158 days).

Hey quick question for those of you who have submitted NVC stuff.  My husband (USC) and I are gathering our NVC package together and working on police certificates now.  We live abroad (in Zambia) but I am from Canada.  From what I understand I need a police certificate from Canada and from Zambia, but does my husband (USC) need one from Zambia as well? We are thinking not, but I just wanted to make sure.

only the intending immigrant needs to collect police certificates... they don't care about then USC

Zambia is good!  Its super hot and muggy right now (much better than Canada in February!)

most welcome!!!  I do what I can... I'm an amateur at this immigration thing, but I read a ton... hehe

 

ugh hot and muggy doesn't sound so appealing... but DC has been swinging between weirdly warm and freezing. Are you guys going to do electronic processing? As a Canadian you can do it... I highly recommend it... as you can see from my signature, my process with NVC was pretty fast, even with a checklist. We slowed ourselves down because we took an extra 6 weeks to do the DS-260 and prep the financial doc package.

I hope we can do electronic processing! Mailing things from here is kind of a pain.  I just assumed that it was random who would get to do electronic processing.  Do you know why it hasn't rolled out to everyone?

Yeah, my husband tried to call the USCIS but they said to wait for the letter in the mail.... 

Also he didn't receive neither email nor text message about it, I'm not sure why, since he got the first text message about the "case received" just fine.

Just found out today we got transferred on February 9th.  

It doesn't say where we were transferred to, but I'm assuming it was TSC.  

We didn't get an email or text about it, I just check the USCIS website periodically.

This happened to us as well.

No, they wouldn't tell him. And we're still waiting for that letter too. Kinda frustrating since so many other of the transferrals have already received their letter last weekend.

You are not the only one, I am waiting for my letter too. I will tell my husband call them to find out where my case get transferred.

 

I think everyone will get transferred to Texas service center, I am not sure but I think so.

 

 

I wonder if that because some people did 2 and 3 days shipping cause them to get their letter shipped 2-3 days. Maybe am wrong.

 

 

I pray it don’t be long before we get approved.

 

Right before my case was transferred I dream my case got approve February 19, 2017.

 

for those of you who get the letter what did it say? I believe it only mention it was transferred to Texas service center.
