Oh I see. Guess he needs to seek advice from an accountant before sending the packets. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Thank you very very much! Greatly appreciated guys! :)

Lol!  Don't think it will work for nvc....

We were put on supervisor review 3 weeks ago and a rep assured me it wouldn't be that long for us now, hmmm, wrong!  I am so tired of calling them and being let down again and again... Feels like it will never happen.  Tried calling again Friday but couldn't even get through the line was so busy.

MujtabaRahman -- Congrats!

Yes, have your wife call NVC. If she gets the message that they are too busy to take calls, just wait 15 minutes and call again. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to get into the queue. She should have your USCIS case number handy :)

Sorry to hear it's taking so long for you.  Not sure how long it usually takes. On the positive side, you are ahead of everyone here.

If you get the lines busy message, call right back till you get through.

Good luck and keep us posted. :)

How long did you wait to call NVC for a case number?  I called today and was told to give them 6 weeks. My case was sent to them on January 24th.

More than likely it would not take 6 weeks. That's the standard timing. I got mine in a week. You just have to keep calling them.... Good luck

My i-130 was approved a couple days ago, and the status at USCIS website changed to "Case was approved". Does this status will change again to something else or not?
