Great you are from the Philippines too! Thank you so much that's a relief . It's hard for me to call NVC from here . Do i still have to wait for any email from NVC before we can start the payments? Or any instruction from them?

As long as you have the NVC case number and the IIN, you will be able to access the fee paying pages. If the fees can't be paid yet, it means you just have to wait a bit more.

Go to ceac.state.gov to check. This also where you can file the DS-261 (choice of agent) and DS-260 (IV application)

A newbie to this forum.

My husband filed two cases CR1 & CR2 (step-son) with different filing dates because of mis-information.

We were married last 12/28/2015 in the Philippines.

CR1 CASE

01/21/2016 - Sent out I-130 to Chicago,IL

03//01/2016 - Received

03/03/2016 - Got the I-797 NOA-1

05/27/2016 - Got the RFE letter (certified copy of marriage certificate)

07/21/2016 - Mailed in RFE response

07/28/2016 - Received the RFE response

08/03 - Case approved at USCIS

08/03/2016 - Received NOA-2

08/13/2016 - Case received by NVC

08/13/2016 - NVC case number and IN assigned

09/14/2016 - Paid IV fee

09/19/2016 - Sent required documents

09/21/2016 - DS-260 submitted online

12/15/2016 - We received an email from NVC (checklist cover letter)

Just when my case was at NVC, we found out that we have to file a CR2 for the child.

The latest for my case is we received an email from NVC regarding a checklist of missing documents which I will bring in the interview. Does this means that my case is complete?

A newbie to this forum.

My husband filed two cases CR1 & CR2 (step-son) with different filing dates because of mis-information.

We were married last 12/28/2015 in the Philippines.

CR1 CASE

01/21/2016 - Sent out I-130 to Chicago,IL

03//01/2016 - Received

03/03/2016 - Got the I-797 NOA-1

05/27/2016 - Got the RFE letter (certified copy of marriage certificate)

07/21/2016 - Mailed in RFE response

07/28/2016 - Received the RFE response

08/03 - Case approved at USCIS

08/03/2016 - Received NOA-2

08/13/2016 - Case received by NVC

08/13/2016 - NVC case number and IN assigned

09/14/2016 - Paid IV fee

09/19/2016 - Sent required documents

09/21/2016 - DS-260 submitted online

12/15/2016 - We received an email from NVC (checklist cover letter)

Just when my case was at NVC, we found out that we have to file a CR2 for the child.

CR2 CASE

09/13/2016 - Sent out I-130

09//16/2016 - Received

10/27/2016 - Case approved at USCIS

11/23/2016 - Case received by NVC

11/23/2016 - NVC case number and IN assigned

11/23/2016 - Paid IV fee

Both cases is stuck at NVC.

The latest for my case is we received an email from NVC regarding a checklist of missing documents which I will bring in the interview. Does this means that my case is complete?

How do we merge both cases for the interview?

Welcome to the group. Since your case was approved pretty quick and you are from Philippines, I am assuming that your case was sent to Nebraska. I have added you to the list. Please provide the missing information.

As far as combining your both cases, I would suggest that you contact the NVC and make a request. There is also a supervisor's email address here at VJ that you can search and email them information about the two cases and requesting that they give you same interview slot for both cases.

Aissatou20, see above, there has only been one lucky person from Potomac who was approved and that's Duchaine. There hasn't been any approvals other than that.

Been stalking cases from August 8th at Potomac. They are finally moving on these! Progress at last!! Hopefully mine will be soon.

Took me a while to find this forum on this new changed website.   On my screen, our list on this new site is spread into two lines instead of each person on a separate line.   Are others seeing it the same way where it's spread into two lines?
