Happy Holidays everyone!!! I've been a little absent from the forum lately because I have been spending time with my hubby, who is visiting me in the US

Side note (for those who are interested): This was his first visit since we started this process, he got asked a few extra questions at customs and immigration - and they wanted to see proof (just a printed confirmation) of his flight back. He's German, so I realize this doesn't apply to everyone, but it was pretty easy going for him.

Side note (for those who are interested): This was his first visit since we started this process, he got asked a few extra questions at customs and immigration - and they wanted to see proof (just a printed confirmation) of his flight back. He's German, so I realize this doesn't apply to everyone, but it was pretty easy going for him.

I get asked these questions always before we filed. I didn't fly since we filed. My wife visited back in September and she will be visiting soon.

I used to visit with B1/B2. They took me to another interview at least two times. I keep my papers ready for every travel. I even keep deviance of previous travel as a proof. I got asked about the address once being a house. I'd always show my return flight, a letter from work (the one used to get B1/B2 visa), with side chat about being back to work.

My experience? I enjoy talking to them. Just be myself and give direct answers to their questions. Oh! and that I will definitely miss my next flight! lol

The regular APO mailing is not very reliable mail. APO mailing sometimes can take a couple of months, get misrouted by mistake or even get lost. It once took me over 6 months to get an APO mail. That's why I didn't use APO mailing for important stuff and used a US address instead. You may get the notices via mail like someone else living overseas did after a couple of months.

Hard copy of the NOA1 or NOA2 are not needed and this has previously been answered here. The fact that you are moving to the NVC stage is the bigger proof than a piece of paper that USCIS In deed received your case and approved it before it went to NVC or the embassy. Not sure why it's a concern for you . You can print the online case status if you must keep a record for yourself that your case did in fact get processed at USCIS.

Nobody from both parties terminated d case. What is happening ? Do i have a mistake on this that supposedly i should still wait for an email from NVC to begin payment?

Hi I had the exact thing happen to me. The termination thing is a false message. They are trying to input your information in the system, and the alert should go away shortly. Then you can pay your fees i freaked out too and called them right away, so that's what they told me.

Great you are from the Philippines too! Thank you so much that's a relief . It's hard for me to call NVC from here . Do i still have to wait for any email from NVC before we can start the payments? Or any instruction from them?
