For those of you who may not know there are groups on Facebook that also help each other in the process. You can ask questions and they will answer and people on there are very helpful.

The sane happened to me. I called USCIS and the automated system couldn't find my number as well. I then spoke to a very nice gentleman, and he said give it about another week or two and it should recognize your number. He said if it doesn't show up to call them .

Did you ever send the e-notification form? I noticed Wizzle who also sent paperwork to same service center, received the notification the very next day after it was delivered , but in your case, no update for a while.

Our I-130 was received in Chicago on September 14th (sent on the 8th from California by my husband's (petitioner) parents, although we are filing from ABROAD). Received an e-mail on September 17th with the Receipt number, also logged onto the USCIS website with it and saw "My case has been received" and underneath:. On September 14, 2016, we received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number XXXXXXXXXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by October 14, 2016, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Now since we are filing from across the ocean, I very much doubt that we will receive any mail. We did provide my husband's parents' house as his US mailing address in the bottom of the cover letter though. So we shall see.

Please provide your correct Service Center Name. Looking at the USCIS website, it appears that there are only two service centers. Chicago Service Center and Phoenix Service Center. There is no Texas Service Center.
