Don't give your hopes up yet!

I've been getting the same recorded message of the operators are busy on Monday the 14th and today the 15th starting at 830 EST. I kept calling 7 or 8 times randomly and right before I left my house today to go to work I finally got through around 1130 EST. Just to get the good news that they received our case but the case number has not been assigned yet. Operator said maybe next week (i.e., 2 weeks from receipt of case).

FYI - USCIS website said they sent our case on the November 3rd and NVC received it on November 9th.

I finally got through around 5:45pm EST, after a 25 minute wait and 6 calls today.

But... I suppose good things come to those who wait, as I was informed that our NVC case number was assigned yesterday!! The operator also gave me my IIN and told me to wait for the welcome email with further instructions.

Good luck to all still waiting for NOA2s and to those in the NVC :star:

I think here on VJ it seems like the USC calls from the US because its cheaper than dialing from overseas.

  • 12/03/21      I drove 3 hours for my interview only to be told my file wasn't there and I'd have to be rescheduled for another interview. they weren't sure if it would be possible before the holiday. He even said he wasn't sure why they didn't do both interviews that very day when i did removal of conditions interview.  
  • 01/07/22.     Interview rescheduled for 02/14/22 @1:30pm Charleston SC.
  • 02/14/22.      Passed my interview. Now await oath ceremony.
  • 11/02/22.      Letter mailed with oath ceremony date and time 
  • 11/08/22.      Received letter oath ceremony scheduled for 11/15/22 @9am Charleston 
  • 11/15/22.      Oath Ceremony in Charleston (finally a citizen of the USA 🇺🇸) 🥳🍾
