Been monitoring the June 2016 I-130 fliers thread. Looks like the number of people being transferred from Nebraska to Texas has increased substantially over the past few weeks. Hope this means the workload at Nebraska is decreasing!!!

I'm curious to know why it is that Nebraska seems so sluggish compared to other SCs? Is it a bandwidth issue? Certainly they can't be receiving gobs more applications than the other centers?

Hello world am back from matthew hurricane, I thank God for life, we are fine but lot of homes and places hot damage. We have no power no water it's awful. So far we are still living.

From what I see Texas are doing great with people cases, I pray they soon start to move september cases to Texas. So that Nebraska will not be slow with people cases.

November hurry up get here and move along so December can run pass us.

Nebraska still working on April filers damn and next month they will be working on May Smh we have a long way to go.

Yeah some may and June case have been approved too.

So what do you all think (or maybe know from people who've already gone through this), which approval step is really the most important? Is it really going to be the interview; or is it like, if you steered right through the previous steps with no issues whatsoever, the interview is mostly a formality?

I think the interview is to confirm everything they have investigated each of us.

sometimes we do things we think no one will know.

Good luck with your paperwork and enjoy your time with your husband.

I have realized that this group created by you is the most active group in the IR-1 / CR-1 section and always stays on the top.

Everyone is supporting each other, sharing process information, and motivating others. Makes waiting time easier being in this VJ community.

Thanks! September is the best group! :)

Even though every step is important and they verify that everything is legit and completed before processing the case, I believe that interview is the most important step. Even though most cases get approved at USCIS, I see many posts here about visa denials here after the interviews.

You will notice when you log-in to VJ main page about such cases.

Not trying to make anyone worried or concerned as everyone's case is different. If everything is legit, satisfying and complete, visa will be issued.

What would be reasons for the visa to be denied? I mean does that happen in cases where everything is legit, say you have no police record against you, you've added whatever proof you could find that you have an ongoing relationship with your spouse, etc?

I'm just a super worry worm by nature :P And things where I don't know the outcome just freak me out, lol :D

On a different note, I know that sometimes both spouses will be able to attend the interview. I hear conflicting reports about how that is fine to do vs. the consulate not liking it very much. I know you've been on this site for a bit, do you have any input on this? My consulate would be Frankfurt, if that makes a difference :)

Congratulations, that puts our group right on track for weekly approvals regardless of the service center.

Great news for Nebraska filers who were getting a bit disappointed before.
