I am confused? My hard copy of my NOA2 states that they have sent the application to the NVC. Do they send an additional email saying that they sent it again?

Almost exactly the same form I got:

Hi BethyWink,

We haven't received our NOA2 hard-copy yet, just the e-mail notification about sending to NVC.

It's probably not much but any progress now is appreciated.

Actually, checking the status online and on the app also says same:

Case Was Sent To The Department of State

On October 19, 2016, we sent your case, Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXXXXX, to the Department of State for visa processing. Please visit our website for general information on Consular Processing. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I know such online updates are sometimes greatly delayed as well, but you can probably call them for the exact status.

Wish you all the best!

Sept 6 - NOA1

Oct 3 - NOA2

Back to updating the list again as Professor j0hnj3ly disappeared after taking over the empire.

Has anyone with NOA2 called NVC yet to find out if NVC has received the case?

Those with missing information, please provide the information for the benefit of others and better tracking of average time.

Hi jessieabc and onek, I have the app case tracker in my phone. but I don't know, how it works.

Could you tell me, where it says "start receipt" wthat I need to write there and where say count what?

In the start receipt, enter the LIN # that I used. Change results to 500 which is the max for the app. Then select I-130 to filter the results. There is a graph option located on the upper right hand corner which you can use after the search has completed to display the results by case status. Make sure you filter the results on the graph by I-130 also.

Note: the dates are based on the last updated date. If you scroll through the filtered results, you'll notice "cases received" statuses usually reflect one specific date which indicates these records were mostly received on that date.

Hope that helps!
