Hi everyone

Just want to clarify my status on here as I differ just a bit.

I am Canadian born and has been in the Usa on a tn status. Met my spouse 5 yrs ago and got married 3 yrs ago and we have 2 kids.

He petitioned for me with the form I 130 but my status is a tn( visa).

My wait period maybe different than others since I am not a fiance and I am legally in the Usa also my status is different as I read on this thread.

I hope to stay on and offer, also get support and advice if I can offer any.

My sister in law went through this same process as us all on here 3 years ago.

She gave me some pointers.

Happy Tuesday everyone...

Lately everyone has been pretty quiet in this room. I guess everyone is either pretty upset about the wait time or busy praying for a speedy approval. I know at least a couple of people are visiting their spouses and spending quality time with them.

Guess what? We have another APPROVAL in this room? One of our first filers in this room got APPROVED. Duchanie, who had the case processed at Potomac is now moving to NYC forum. Congratulations to Duchanie. I'll update Duchanie tomorrow.

Where did he mail the packet from? Did he provide your contact information for e-notification?

He send the packet from NY. And he don't provide the information for e-notifications. How I can tracker my packet???

In this case, your husband will receive the notification in about a week in the mail. You can not track it.

Hi,

a little update from me...

A couple of pages back I wrote that our notice NOA1 got sent back to USCIS because the post office could not deliver it and my husband called the USCIS right away and asked them to send it to his parents' home in the US as we are both living in Europe right now. After the call (about two weeks ago) we heard nothing back and no status change on the USCIS website/app either. This morning (it is 10 AM here right now) I logged on again and to my surprise there was finally an update!

can't because it gives an error saying we should wait at least 30 days but our case hasn't been active for that long yet. you think we should just wait it out till we can change it online?

It is the fear of viking takeovers! (I actually wonder if it is because I have NEXUS, a global Entry program, so my background checks and stuff are done constantly by homeland security.)
