My question tonight is, why is that each time i go on my time line i keep getting estimated dates further apart

today's eg: Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between February 5, 2017 and February 10, 2017*.

At first it was January 30,2017 and February 4, 2017. Then February 3, 2017 and February 8, 2017.

Now i'm so confused as i still dont understand what it actually means.

So yes! This is really huge and distressing. I now question whether or not I should have put my overseas address on the form. I was advised by someone on this forum to put my current overseas address because it would show evidence of a bonafide marriage since we are both on the rental lease here. However, I just got through to USCIS (calling from ETHIOPIA!) and was elevated to a tier 2 customer service rep but when I was transferred it asked me to put in my call back number and they would call me back. Obviously, I can't do this. They can't call me here in Ethiopia. This is ridiculous and distressing and am now I am regretting having followed the advice of putting my overseas address on the forms.

We started to mail our revised i-130 on September 28, 2016. We live in a remote region of Argentina and my wife travelled from our home Concaran, Argentina to the nearest DHL Office in San Luis Argentina to send our package. The package return instructions gave us a P.O. Box Address and DHL could not deliver it. We did not want to mail it because of security and delivery problems with our mail service. I called the uscis help line to try to find an alternate address. I explained our problem to the uscis person and was told that I would have to mail it because the person could only help me with exact return instructions furnished with my package. If I wanted additional help I could stay on the line to talk to a supervisor. I stayed on and was informed by a recording that my wait would be an hour, an hour of billed long distance charges from Argentina.

I called the help line again and the person helping me asked me to describe my problem. This person simply said "wait a few minutes while I get the correct mailing address". The person returned quickly with the mailing address. It was the Chicago Lock Box Address we originally mailed to.

I will not describe the persons I talked with to protect the guilty. One cannot assume that you will get competent advise.

If you're not changing any of the inputs (e.g., dates), I wonder if it could have something to do with more data being submitted to VJ, which then updates VJ's timeline predictions? For example, say when you entered your dates into your timeline, VJ had 50 data points it used to generate your estimated dates. Say you then return to your timeline three days later. Perhaps 50 more people have updated their own timelines, which may then change VJ's predictions based on that new data. The day after, you check again and see different dates yet again. Perhaps more data points had been submitted between the second and third times you checked.

Agreed with professor j0hnj3ly. A lot of factors play role into the outcome such as new dates entered into the system, people entering dates incorrectly or late entries, people getting RFE, different service centers, etc. Don't take such predictions too seriously, but just a rough estimate or an average. I think the most important factors to predict the outcome are the service center and if you receive the RFE or not.

Our case was approved 16th sept, that was 3 weeks ago and we have not heard a thing since, waiting waiting waiting...

Am a little dissapointed as our case was approved so fast and now it's slowed down so it seems.... or that's what it feels like anyway

Hi Efquake

This wednesday it will be 4 weeks since we heard from uscis so my husband is going to call then, he wants to wait the allocated time they

give which is 4-6 weeks to hear....

Am still trying to sort out these vaccinations as they are a total nightmare for me, when i moved over there in 2005 on my fiance visa i had all vaccinations after i AOS

but for some reason they are not listed on my vaccination records so am trying to figure out what i will need..... it's driving me nutty...

There is a list of what is needed but when i downloaded the info for the required london physician they have a chart that states not all vaccinations are required for my

age group so i am very confused in what i need, also i will have to pay for some of them as the nhs only do free travel vaccinations and some of what i need is not

on that list....

Am thinking of calling the london physician's office and asking the receptionist, but i don't know if they will tell me...

Happy Tuesday everyone...

Lately everyone has been pretty quiet in this room. I guess everyone is either pretty upset about the wait time or busy praying for a speedy approval. I know at least a couple of people are visiting their spouses and spending quality time with them.

Guess what? We have another APPROVAL in this room? One of our first filers in this room got APPROVED. Duchanie, who had the case processed at Potomac is now moving to NYC forum. Congratulations to Duchanie. I'll update Duchanie tomorrow.
