September 2016 I-130 filers

Good night all.

My spouse filed for me the i130 and after reading all the questions and answers i will say I am with u all, all the way. Sept 12 mailed to Chicago via express , email saying received sept 15 and got my noa1 saying it was sent to the Texas office and a priority date of sept 14.

As of date cheque not cashed.

We are to be patient and pray.

Added. Can you confirm the delivery confirmation date of the Express mail? Was this also 9/14?

We now have our I-130 petition approved meaning NOA2 confirmed right?

Is there a long wait after NOA2 to NVC ?

I have the same issue. I'm in Ethiopia and I used our current residence address here on the forms but I want any RFE and notices to go to my US address. I wanted to change it so I could get the hard copy of my NOA1 but couldn't even access the website from here to change it. I'm pretty sure I missed my opportunity to get a hardcopy of my NOA1. If they sent it, I have no idea where they sent it to since Ethiopia doesn't even have residential mail delivery. Now the website is working and I'm also wondering if it will create problems to change it now. Anyone with experience on this. We both could use your advice!

My main concern is , that they ask you to change they address if you moved out of the current address or something, we didn't . The only reason I would change the address online is just to receive hard copy of NOA1 etc..So my husbands family will receive it for us..

We called and told them to send it to the US address after the USCIS website said the Notice had been returned to USCIS since the Post Office could not deliver it (I do not know where they sent it to in the first place - I doubt it was Estonia where we both live right now..´) Anyway, we called but no one has done anything with our request to have it sent again (to the US address..) Probably going to call again and ask how long it would take. But I think also in your case, you should probably call and tell them that no, you have not moved, but would like to receive hard copies to the US address...

No my usps showed signed for on Sept 12 or 13 th at 1030 am with a signature them the next day sept 14 is the date saying received with a priority date of sept 14th. No other info except my office is texas as it should be as i am in Ma.

Now I pray and wait.

Yes, I'm going to call them today, right now seems to be too early. I hope it will work out because I'm afraid to do it on my own via online, since they tell you to change it only if you moved out.. I hope I can get them on the phone and tell them our US address. I don't think they sent anything off yet..Ahh

So...I called and of course the tier one customer service could not change my mailing address. By the way, what in God's name are tier one customer service reps even good for? And they needed to elevate me to tier 2 but of course they were all busy and they asked me to call back tomorrow. So I will and ask for tier 2 right away and change the mailing address only so that I can receive hard copes at the US address. I will report back if this works, but I imagine this is our only hope. Also, they sent my notice apparently but where I can't even begin to imagine. I am going to see if they will resend it to my mailing address in the US just because I like to have hard copies of everything. I'll let you all know how it works out.

Indeed. Make sure you ask for tier 2 customer service rep right off the bat. The tier 1 people know very little and can't really do a damn thing.

Sooo, it's a HUGE pain to try contacting USCIS customer service rep via phone..especially if you live abroad like I do and trying to use some phone apps or skype which provides calls overseas. I tried at least 20 times now to call them and every time someone picks up they just can't hear me. I have no idea why...maybe because I'm using apps? It's very frustrating ..

NO1 Date on Notice = "Notice Date" on the upper right hand corner of the hardcopy

Took your feedback and added in clarification so that when you pass your cursor over a column header, comments pop up
