what does this mean i just got my case# and invoice id yesterday and I tried to log in and it says Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.

I got mine as well tonight over the phone and tried to log in and it told me the same thing. The guy on the phone said I wouldn't be able to do anything with it yet until I get the email. So I guess we have to wait for that part.

The never ending saga... So yesterday I got a notification that my I-129F had been closed: On June 1, 2017, we closed your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number XXXXX, because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means. But my I-130 was still in a received only state.  I called the center and they were as perplexed as I was.  They opened a ticket with the service center to respond and have up to two weeks to explain.

I am beginning to think that I am going to have to move out of the country if I want to be with my wife.

I feel your pain. I just got back from visiting my husband and sometimes I just want to leave everything here and go live with him in El Salvador until the visa is approved BUT I know I can't and need my job, apartment, car, etc. in tact when he gets here. It 's VERY hard but keep your chin up. They'll get this resolved and you'll be on to the next part of the process in no time.

The same thing happened to me and a few days later I received notification that my I-130 was approved via a letter in the mail.  Turns out the actual approval date was the same date of the official termination of the I-129F.  The online status did not change until days after I got the notification in the mail.  Hoping it is a good sign for your I-130!  Good luck!

is email processing faster than mail.

yes E-mail processing usually only takes 1-4 weeks, while Mail Processing can take 8-11 weeks

if you have E-mail processing available do that

Question regarding AOS ...

We didn't pay attention to my wife's filing status and she used to file as 'Head of Household'. Now we need to make some corrections with IRS about the address and last name and I was wondering if we should and how easy is to change the filing status.

Correct me if I wrong but should we do form 1040X for changing the filing status and it only be done for the past 3 years ?

Once we have the IRS portion figured out then we will get the transcripts and my wife will add some additional financial documents as she's self employed and doesn't meet the income requirements.
