yep, typed it but you can copy and paste someone's and add your own dates and also add/edit some of the info that doesn't apply to you

they did reset my scan date. My original one was on December 13, 2016. After I got a checklist from the NVC and I sent in the document again, they reset my scan date to March 2, 2017.

So, after my last post I just received an email from our lawyer and she attached a copy of our APPROVAL NOTICE! I can't stop crying tears of joy and relief! Thank you so much to everyone who has been so supportive. I've made some great friends here and I'm not sure I would have made it through this with my sanity if it hadn't been for this group. 

 

I received no notification online, I received no email, AND I received no letter!! My lawyer did and I'm only assuming mine is on its way to me but that's insane!!

If that's the case, then in a couple of days I'd call the NVC and ask if they've received your package yet. This will be your "scan date". The next step is the NVC needs to review all your documents. This will take anywhere from 8-12 weeks. If you'd like you can call once or twice a week to check on the status. But basically, you now wait. After 12 weeks, if everything is okay you'll get a case complete. After this you're files will be shipped to the embassy in Pakistan and an interview will be scheduled.

Thanks for uour kind reply that was informative. I got NVC case number now next i think as they said i should give them upto 2 months to complete the case. Thanks again
