After more than 7 months of painful waiting (Nebraska SC and then transferred to Texas) and feeling hopeless I got the NOA2 in the mail today!! No update online just like most of you guys. The notice is dated 4/27. Thank God.

Those still waiting, take heart! I know the feeling of frustration and hopelessness all too well.

Congrats!!  Now you can join the rest of us in the May Nvc thread :)

Call nvc first and see if they have a case number. They usually have a case number and iin number 2 weeks after noa2 date and one week after the file is sent off to nvc by uscis. Uscis usually takes a week after your noa2 date before they actually send off your case to the nvc.

Once your petition says transferred on the website, that's when you can start calling. It takes about 1-2 weeks after you get your NOA2 before the NVC gets your petition.

For me the NOA2 date was 3/27, I received it in the mail 4/1. On 4/12 I got an email notice that it had been sent to the NVC and according to their website they sent it on 4/10.  I called the NVC on 4/18 and they said they received it on the 17th but no case number yet.  Then on the 20th I called and they gave me the case number and invoice number.  I have a lawyer (that doesn't seem to do much) so I didn't have to select an agent.  I made the payments on the 22nd and late evening on the 25th the AOS and DS-260 unlocked and we finally got them filled out and submitted.

Did you called them? Because you passed 60 days call instead they forget you. You need to be calling every day or 2 days.

Update online is still Feb 27, RFE received. We filed an inquiry online last April 22 and they said we have to wait for two months from the time they received the RFE...which is April 27. Hoping to hear from them this week. Crossing my fingers
