They work because is not federal holiday... is only for certain states and Nebraska is not one of them

Check the nvc process doc in my signature. Gathered up all the steps from other websites and forum posts because I was confused as heck.

Yes, they have increased the timeframe to 11 weeks for case completion and it's not even guarantee. You would have to do a supervisor review after 11 weeks if not completed by then

Here again i go with my problem. Got approved on 12th of January and still my case hasn't been sent to the department of state. Called USCIS says will take 90 days and this deadline is over and i don't no what is going on with my case since there is no update on my case and where is it? Really getting frustrated with USCIS and NVC since both of them have no appropriate answer to my queries. Really need help from people here. What should i do? NVC says they don't have my case and USCIS says to wait for another 12 days since my wife has sent an inquiry to them and they say to wait till 27 April for an update on my case. My wife went to USCIS field office and it was of any help ,but instead gave me her an email id of POTOMAC and when mailed it says you haven't contacted the NATIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER  and hence POTOMAC will not reply to our query. Really pissed off and frustrated.

It sounds like you should escalate this to your senator or congressperson. Four months with no word from the NVC is far too much. Write to your senator and be explicit about how you've tried to contact everyone and how USCIS has failed their OWN deadline of 90 days.

Congratulation all recent approved. Just checking some information about income of join-sponsor, and got a few questions:

His income :

-2016:36k

-2015:18k

-2014:25k

Is 18k in 2015 is ok? Because I check the required for family of 2 in 2015 is 16k.

They would place more weight on his ability to fall above the poverty line when you immigrate which is why 2016 taxes are required but the prior 2 years are optional.  Is his 2016 income expected to continue in 2017?  Can he provide a letter of employment with his title, annual income and employment status to support the expected income?  It may also help to include recent pay stubs.

I got his employment letter with stated hour rate over 30$/hour.This job start last month since he do contract.

I don't know what RFE they needed but I will have to find out from my lawyer on Tuesday.
