I believe the Police Clearance/Police Certificate/Criminal Record ... has an expiry date, I believe it's valid for either 3 or 6 months.. Therefore, it's probably best to wait before further proceeding.

Thanks kellyh, I will be patient then and pray for a swift positive approval :)

Awesome info guys !

One more question. Now that I have received physical copy of NOA1 I want to be proactive in gathering up other documents that I will need in further stages of the cases.

That being said, I know that I need Police Clearance from Canada. Do you guys recommend that I go ahead and apply for it or rather wait till I get an official request ?

I agree with Kelly its best to wait because they do have an expired date I know it valid for 6 months. It best to wait for at lease 1-3 months before getting one

We sent our I-130 package on September 2nd to the Chicago lockbox. They received the package on the 6th. No news yet, they haven't chash the check either. We are patiently waiting. Our I-130 is for my wife, we've been married now for 14 years and we have a 12 year old daughter who is us citizen. We are in Argentina at the moment. Good luck for everybody in this process.

Any update on your case? Even if you missed the e-notification somehow, you should have received the hard copy in the mail by now. I would assume they haven't received the packet since they haven't even cashed the check which is the first thing which takes place. Do you want to share the address where you mailed your packet to?

You may also want to call USCIS and speak with a supervisor to make sure they did in fact received the packet.

That person did DCF-Direct counselor filing. That simply means they filed their petition directly at the embassy in that country. The petitioner also have to reside in the country in order to file their petition directly with the embassy there. DCF is normally approved within days.
