seems like a lot of the forms and processes have been changing from December through now so I'm just waiting to see what I get once I get there  I read from other forums that both hover sheets must be included.

 

as for the welcome letter, you only need te page with the checklist.

That's awesome!! Getting organized helps with the stress levels and wait time hahaa I've been going nuts waiting and waiting so I thought I might as well be productive and make it less painful for others going through the same thing.

You can call in.  NVC will give you the case number. They will also send out a letter (or email) with it.  Usually takes a couple of weeks to get the case number.

I feel like I need some moral support from people going through the same thing. What do you do when the desperation sets it and you feel overwhelmed by the process and waiting?  This is SO HARD and I just don't understand why this process has to take so long. It's so frustrating hearing nothing, knowing nothing. Thanks for letting me vent lol. It has been a particularly difficult Monday.

I get those days. 

 

You just have to keep yourself busy. Keep your mind focused on more than the pain of the process. My wife is everything to me. We've been inseparable since we met 7 years ago up until this process (we were living abroad in sweden before this). I miss her every day.

 

Its been difficult finding the energy or enthusiasm to get out and be active and social, but its been essential in getting through it. I find running to be particularly helpful for dealing with the frustration and I've gotten back into some old hobbies to distract from the loneliness.

Thank you very much, I'm already crying from reading your post hahaha. That ought to let you know my level of emotional stability right now. I've been going to kickboxing classes. It feels really nice to get to punch something at the end of the day and release some frustration. We just have to keep going and tackle each day individually. Good luck to you and your wife. They'll be here with us before we know it

Ah, ok.  I see on your process list.  Understand now.  I didn't realize there were two seperate document sheets.  I am really glad we had this conversation! Lol.  So the other coversheet only becomes available once all fees are paid.  Got it.

Very much agree.  It's hard no doubt.  Really glad I got on this site though.  It has been extremely helpful as well as supportive.

My PD is 9-6 and Feb-7 it was transferred to Texas from Nebraska but still waiting for NOA2 😒

Hi everyone! So I as well just received my approval letter by mail. No update online no text. My pd is 9/26/16 and was sent to Nebraska. On 2/16/17 it was transferred to Texas. My noa 2 arrived today and was approved 3/30/17. Hope that the ones that are still waiting get approvals soon! It been a long wait!
