You HAVE to include the police certificate which is a required document in the package.

You can also reference the NVC Process link in my signature which should give you an idea of what you'll need.

Here's my cover letter but you might need to include other documentation based on your situation   I included confirmation pages as well as photos which are optional.  In addition, I'm still not clear on how many barcoded cover sheets they give you so might switch that around once I get a better idea.

I initially filed from abroad, got sent to Nebraska but changed our address back to my US address in California back in December. So, I, the petitioner lives in California and our case got transferred from Nebraska to Texas...I think they are just shifting the work load. 

 

I have no idea, that what the tire 2 officer told us, because our case is not being transferred to another office to speed up, it was transferred at my local office

Just wondering... does the USCIS let us know that case is received at NVC or do we have to call in to find the status and obtain case #?  

If we call in, can I, the beneficiary call in? (assuming the answer is no, but thought I'd ask anyway).

You can call in.  NVC will give you the case number. They will also send out a letter (or email) with it.  Usually takes a couple of weeks to get the case number.

I'm so glad I found this! My husband and I submitted his I-130 and it was received September 23rd 2016. We still haven't received an answer yet! It was at the Nebraska Service Center and in mid-February they transferred it to the Texas Service Center for faster processing and we have heard nothing. The USCIS website says they're evaluating cases received as of September 4th. We're trying to be patient.

Where does the website says it is processing 4th sep? When i checked it is still showing august 9 for Nebraska

Hi,I need help with my I-864 form,from PART 4. INFORMATION ABOUT YOU(SPONSOR) (continued)

 

Am sponsoring my spouse, about the household size.so i entered 1 for my spouse,my self 1 on number 2,and my son 1,so thats 3 total, but it gives me 4 in total when it says add from 1-7.I entered 1 for number 1.

I filled for both my son and my wife separately, but my son is a minor almost 7 years, so i will use I-864W for him.I need help to complete the Form I-864 for my spouse.

They mean Texas is 4th of September.

That's is as per VJ time line. USCIS website is yet to get updated. still showing sep 4

What is the Affidavit of Support Cover Sheet?
