True.  I do feel like this was the hardest part though.  I can electronically file so I'm hoping that might speed things up a little bit.  Who knows though.  I'm going to enjoy this feeling for the day - and try and get some sleep since I've been awake since 2.30 am Australia time and it's now 10am.  Who can sleep with this much excitement:)

This IS correct. If you live in the same household (same address) as one of your relative's and they are going to be a co-sponsor - they need to fill the I-864A and the petitioner will fill the I-864.

What about if I live with my husband here (I am the beneficiary), BUT currently his US address it registered at the same address as his parents? His dad will be the co-sponsor.... Should the dad file an I 864A then?? what about his wife? My father-in-law's income is sufficient alone, so I am not sure if she has to file one still..? Because of joint taxes maybe/probably?

Anyway, my question is... if the address is the same even though their (my husband's and father-in-laws) incomes/taxes have nothing to do with eachother, does the co-sponsor still file an I864A?

I received the hard copy of my NOA2 on 3/29. There was a topographical error in the spelling of my husband's last name. I submitted two service requests over the last few months to have this error corrected to prevent the misspelling on the approval notice. The error was USCIS's fault as there were several documents with the correct spelling of my husband's name.

i just spoke to a tier 2 supervisor who said I can submit another service request to have it fixed but I am worried that it could delay processing time in regard to my case being sent to NVC. He said that I would be able to correct the error at the NVC stage easily if I send them copies of documents such as my husband's birth certificate, passport, along with the receipt emails for the two service requests that I already submitted. Has anyone had a similar issue? Should I just wait to correct the error at the NVC stage? At this point I have little confidence in USCIS because they seem to make many mistakes.

@Trinbago i had the same issue! Uscis spelled my last name wrong on my approval letter. I called them to have it fixed asap! They expidited my process for name change which was updated it in two days. You have to call to make sure they took care of it and you get an email that says your name was updated. Don't wait for the NVC level because then they will ask for proof which will delay your process. Good luck!
