There are still so many pending petitions from August that I can see on the app so I'm not getting my hopes up yet.  I'm curious if many of them are from the banned countries so they aren't doing anything with them.  There's still a heap from 9 August not approved and well over a hundred from 30 and 31 August.  It boggles my mind how they figure out who to process next!

I agree confused by priority numbers when September is being approved and they are not finished with August. I keep thinking Nebraska may have slower workers or I don't know there system I just want it to make sense, lol

I don't think you can really pay much attention to the numbers posted here or on the USCIS website. They have approx. 60-70 people who put up timelines for each month on this website , but from looking at the app there are over 100 petitions pending just for 31 August - just one day, so the real numbers are massive!!  I would love it if I am approved in the next week or so but with so many still ahead of me I'm not counting on it.

Join the club.  I was trying to have a  break from checking anything.  It's Monday in Australia so it's like a nothing day for me since only Sunday in the US and I know there will be no notifications on a Sunday:(

We got our approval notice by e-mail on Saturday! Finally! :D The rest of you will get notices soon, they seem to be catching up!

 

If you want to get e-mail notification, make sure you're signed up on the USCIS website. Maybe that's why others aren't getting the info by e-mail?

NOA 2 : March 24 2017

 

Time to approval : 198 days 

 

Married: June 3, 2016

I-130 sent to Chicago: September 1, 2016

NOA 1: Case received September 7, 2016

NOA 1 email received: September 12, 2016

Application sent to Nebraska Service Center

Case Approved: March 24, 2017

NOA 2 e-mail received March 25, 2017

NOA 2:

Sent to Department of State: March 27, 2017

NVC:

Case received by NVC: April 4, 2017

NVC case number assigned, Welcome e-mail received, DS-261 Completed Online: April 5, 2017

AOS bill paid

DS-261 reviewed over the phone

IV Fee Invoiced, IV Fee Paid

Completed DS-260

Sent AOS and IV package (via electronic processing)

Checklist received, documents sent back to NVC (via electronic processing)

Case Complete
