Hi guys, I sent my I-130 application package on September 16 and they received it Sept 20, but until now I didnt received email or txt from USCIS that they received the

package. The money order check already cashed. How long to received email from USCIS?

Sorry guys I just noticed the email confirmation from USCIS went to my SPAM folder, Our case routed to NEBRASKA.

I have seen some Nebraska applications get approved pretty quick so good luck with your case.

One quick lesson to take from your case, for those who are waiting for NOA1 for a long time, check your Spam folder.

Yes, it took him only a month to get NOA2. That's why he is our chief guest in this room of September filers all the way on the top so we get as lucky as him also. :)

It looks like USCIS certain offices are processing NOA2 a way faster than the others.

Lets hope we are all as lucky as aidensbubba :)

Think it maybe that we haven been married for 11 years and we have 2 children together.... moved over there in 2005 on K1 fiance visa and seperated 2014 and i came back to

england to live then this year we got back together, not sure if that made a difference or we are just meant to be together and are lucky.... :luv:(L)

Hopefully I will not get denied, because I been in US last year via K1 visa, stayed 3 weeks but I didn't apply AOS due to our work contract here in Kuwait with USC husband . our kids are here with us too.

Have you read the wiki about the NVC on this site? Its a good place to start... might not answer all of your questions but its good stuff

**If you go to the second bullet -- it explains the next steps -- looks like they will invoice you once they are ready to take your case. Maybe lurk on the NVC boards here to see what other's experiences are? And especially how long you should anticipate to wait before calling them.**

  • 03-27-2023:  USCIS Requested additional evidence "as it has been several years since you've submitted this petition" 
  • 05-13-2023:  Sent RFE response via USPS certified Priority mail
  • 05-17-2023:  USCIS received RFE packet
  • 05-19-2023:  USCIS case status updated to “New Card is Being Produced" 
  • 05-22-2023:  USCIS case status updated to “Case Was Approved" 
  • 05-24-2023:  USCIS case status updated to reflect new Green Card was mailed
  • 05-25-2023:  USCIS case status updated to “Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office"

Have you read the wiki about the NVC on this site? Its a good place to start... might not answer all of your questions but its good stuff

I'd also recommend looking at the State Department's website if you haven't already:

**If you go to the second bullet -- it explains the next steps -- looks like they will invoice you once they are ready to take your case. Maybe lurk on the NVC boards here to see what other's experiences are? And especially how long you should anticipate to wait before calling them.**

Maybe others have some ideas too :)
