Congrats! Our PD is Sept 7 and we're stuck in Nebraska so hopefully we'll get our answer soon!!  :blink:

NOA 1: Case received September 7, 2016

NOA 1 email received: September 12, 2016

Application sent to Nebraska Service Center

Case Approved: March 24, 2017

NOA 2 e-mail received March 25, 2017

NVC case number assigned, Welcome e-mail received, DS-261 Completed Online: April 5, 2017

here is an update on my case today request of initial evidence was mail. which means I have to wait for another 30-60 days  or its 60-90 days once we sent what they need.? for an respond right?

wow...that sucks..after all this waiting now they send mail for evidence, mind if i ask what they are asking for? i'm afraid of that as well if they will send it to me after waiting 6 months.

Just got an email from USCIS yay. 

 

"I apologize for the delay in our response to your inquiry.  The Lockbox is only a form and fee receipting facility, once an application has been accepted, the Lockbox has no further role in the adjudication process.  To inquire into the status of your I-130 petition, assigned receipt number LIN**********, you would need to contact the USCIS National Customer Service Center by sending a request online or by calling (800) 375-5283 to initiate an inquiry with the Texas Service Center, where the case is currently being adjudicated. Or you can use the InfoPass system on our website, https://infopass.uscis.gov, to make an appointment at your local USCIS office, where you can speak with an Immigration Services Officer to who can look into the case and address your questions for you."

yes it is, but it ok I don't know and no one will never know until they get the letter for RFE. that does happened all the time, that is why some people should be happy they get RFE early than waiting til 6 months and then found out.

@nyokie I'm so sorry, lady! What are they asking for? Respond as soon as you can. I believe during "normal" times they would adjudicate within 30 days of receiving your response, but as we all know, everything is severely delayed now. So sorry for you! At least you know they are getting close to approving ...
