I had this same situation technically.so when i had filed, my mom quit her job but transferred to a different company about 2 weeks later.  This was during the time that I was compiling the packed to send to NVC. I submitted the minimum requirement plus more. So they only ask for the last year's tax return/tax transcript, but just in case, I have sent her last 3 years of tax transcripts, an employment letter from her previous job and i waited for her to get into her new job and asked for an employment letter from them. Additionally, I also sent her last 6 months of pay stubs from work. We just wanted to be on the safe side instead of being denied or getting a checklist. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for your post. I'm wondering are pay stubs from last 6 months a requirement or just something additional that we can include to the application?

Do you have to have three years worth of tax info or is that just what you chose to provide.

@Frustrated74 You can submit the last year's ONLY... or submit the last 3 year's. It is up to you to decide.

Does anyone know if the police certificate requirements have changed?  I've read that if you've lived in another country (other than your own) for 12 months after the age of 16 you need one, but the new checklist for interview for Australia says 6 months.

@Frustrated74 I don't think so.  It's possible that different consulates have slightly different requirements. I would go by what your checklist says. You could always ask the other Aussies on VJ about it though...

@Ulrica&Jesse It is not a requirement, but people often include it to help prove current, stable income. I believe a letter from your employer stating that you are an employee with a long-term (not temp) position also suffices.

A quick question:

how long does it take for Social Security Office to send the social security card after social security status update request is submitted?

It has been over 3 weeks and i didn't hear or receive anything back from social security office so just wondering if any one here has past experience about the total time...

You're welcome! The pay stubs are just adddional reinforcement. To us, since we had an RFE in the USCIS stage, we tried to avoid a checklist as much as possible at the NVC stage.

09/24 - Sent out I-130 to Phoenix, AZ

09/26 - Received at Phoenix (somewhere in between, the I-797 was mailed and marked back to sender due to post office error)

10/24 - Finally got the I-797 NOA-1 resent to me - forwarded my case to NSC

11/04 - Status changed to RFE

11/12 - Got the RFE letter in the mail (certified copy of marriage certificate)

11/18 - Mailed in RFE response

11/21 - RFE received at USCIS

11/21 - RFE status changed to response review

11/29 - Case approved at USCIS

12/03 - Received NOA-2 in the mail

12/09 - Case sent to NVC

12/15 - Case received by NVC

12/20 - NVC case number and IIN assigned

12/21 - DS-261 submitted online & gave email addresses

12/22 - Had NVC review DS-261 over the phone, paid AOS fee

12/24 - Paid IV fee

12/28 - Submitted DS-260

12/29 - Submitted packet to NVC via FedEx

01/03 - Packet delivered to NVC

01/04 - NVC scan date

03/02 - NVC Supervisor Review

03/16 - Case Complete at NVC

03/30 - Interview date confirmed over phone (and P4 email?)

03/30 - P4 letter received via email

05/02 - Interview at Manila Embassy

Try and see if you can actually speak to somebody instead of just relying on the automated system.  They should be able to tell you.  Congrats if you're approved:)
