I was looking at a case tracking app today and have noticed that most of the early September dates (before September 8) have been transferred to another juridisdiction. Probably safe to assume from Nebraska to somewhere else. It makes me quite hopeful it won't take long to get to the September dates for Nebraska. Please, please let this be true ?

Hello Everyone!

It's been a while. I have been letting the NVC drain the life out of me like the rest of us waiting there.

This morning, i checked my CEAC and saw 3 N/A's and i called to confirm that my case was completed yesterday at NVC. Now just waiting for my husband's interview date and the next steps.

I was actually stressing quite a bit because we thought for sure we were going to get a checklist because we did not submit an i-864A, just the normal i-864 for my mom who is the joint sponsor. But i guess not. :)

Anyway, hang in there! Your approvals will come soon!

09/24 - Sent out I-130 to Phoenix, AZ

09/26 - Received at Phoenix (somewhere in between, the I-797 was mailed and marked back to sender due to post office error)

10/24 - Finally got the I-797 NOA-1 resent to me - forwarded my case to NSC

11/04 - Status changed to RFE

11/12 - Got the RFE letter in the mail (certified copy of marriage certificate)

11/18 - Mailed in RFE response

11/21 - RFE received at USCIS

12/03 - Received NOA-2 in the mail

12/09 - Case sent to NVC

12/15 - Case received by NVC

12/20 - NVC case number and IIN assigned

12/21 - DS-261 submitted online & gave email addresses

12/22 - Had NVC review DS-261 over the phone, paid AOS fee

12/24 - Paid IV fee

12/28 - Submitted DS-260

12/29 - Submitted packet to NVC via FedEx

Thought I'd share my NVC Interview checklist with all of you.  It's mostly for the London Embassy and personalized for our visa case but maybe some of you will find it useful since it contains links to required vaccines, immigration fees, etc. :)

I don't have NVC steps but here's part of my NVC coverletter with the stuff i put together for our case and a checklist I found from someone else's welcome letter packet.

Do you have to have three years worth of tax info or is that just what you chose to provide.

Does anyone know if the police certificate requirements have changed?  I've read that if you've lived in another country (other than your own) for 12 months after the age of 16 you need one, but the new checklist for interview for Australia says 6 months.

I have a question regarding joint sponsor. So my mother and father in law are planning on being our co sponsors but the thing is that my mother in law quit her job two months ago and plans on getting a new one. She does has a consistent income for past years and taxes in order. Would it create a problem for my application, her temporary quitting her job?

I had this same situation technically.so when i had filed, my mom quit her job but transferred to a different company about 2 weeks later.  This was during the time that I was compiling the packed to send to NVC. I submitted the minimum requirement plus more. So they only ask for the last year's tax return/tax transcript, but just in case, I have sent her last 3 years of tax transcripts, an employment letter from her previous job and i waited for her to get into her new job and asked for an employment letter from them. Additionally, I also sent her last 6 months of pay stubs from work. We just wanted to be on the safe side instead of being denied or getting a checklist. Hope this helps.
