but I called 1 800 375-5283， i checked on the status, it says it might wait up to 180days from the transferred date, i was transferred on Feb 14th

I hear you. Every day I wake up thinking I'm another day closer, but yet it seems so far away. Then there's the waiting for the NVC. It's never ending. Fingers crossed we all hear soon.

Hey September 2016 I130 filers.  I got fed up with the waiting today.  Called USCIS and after being given the regular run around I told them I was tired of this and wanted to speak to a supervisor.  Waited 3 hours for a callback but worth the wait.  The supervisor informed me our case was approved as of Yesterday and I have ran checks ON USCIS status update as well as having 2 applications loaded to my phone to notify me if something changes with my case.  And I also signed up for email and text.  I got none if those...it took me calling and going up a level .  My case was transferred to POTOMAC on Feb 9th from Nebraska.   So if you are near Sept 15-16 you should start calling. NOA 2 has not been received in my hand yet..just via phone call.

thank you for sharing your experience, My1-30 got transferred to new york local office on Feb 14th, i didn't hear anything till now, do you mean to call the number 5283? or call the local office ?

So Nebraska should be on September too then??? We didn't get transferred but hoping they update us all soon! Thanks for your post!

The main USCIS phone number 800-375-5283 and once you speak with the customer service rep tell them you want to go up a level and speak with a supervisor

Honestly I think they are still processing Aug from the notifications I received from nebraska

My wife will call them tomorrow so I'll update what happens.  I think Nebraska is still finishing off August too.  Hopefully us September filers will be getting news soon.

Hey all, I just wanted to let you all know that my cases for both my husband and stepdaughter were approved on March 13th.  I just received a text message indicating that my case status was updated.  I went to the USCIS website and that is where is stated that they had been approved.  I can't even begin to tell you how nervous I was logging in.  I didn't know what I was going to see.  Wow, hold on guys, I need to breathe for a second.  Lol. 

 

Guys, just hang in there.  I'm serious.  It's coming soon for all of you!

Im really happy for Y'all getting approved CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!, but at the same time im really disappointed we just cross the 6th month mark and nothing yet, and people that was transferred from Nebraska black hole are getting approved even with more recent PD dates this process is killing me , IDK what else to do.

I guess we just have to continue to be patient, as hard as that is.  Frustrating when those who have a later PD than yourself are being approved because they were transferred.  It's just isn't a fair system.

Thanks a bunch!  Believe me I was getting very nervous too as my PD date was approaching very soon (even after transfer), but just stay strong and keep pushing forward.  You will make it!
