Who do I contact if I US citizen is living abroad?

Use your last address postcode or any of your close relative or your friend's address and look for theor local congressman and then email them or call them and explain your situation if they won't guide you or gelp you them go for the Mayor directly over the internet that all you can do while you are abroad. These are suggestions only.

Can someone tell me how you're adding info to your timeline. I've just found this forum and it looks really good. Invoices there are estimates on the timeline of when your application will be processed but can't figure out how to get that. Thanks

I torture myself by looking up horror stories lol  I also watch youtube videos of people that got denied during interviews and then I have anxiety attacks over it :(

@MOMO_SLZ please don't do this to yourself!! I know the wait is horrible but you will get through! I know it :D They are just slow slow slow.

I got transferred to Texas also and still waiting :(  PD was 9/26.

@JessieABC Thank you for keeping the list alive!! Good luck at Texas... they are moving! Saw transfers with early Sept PD reporting approvals recently on here.

@Awai5this is good advice -- I will also add that you (or anyone waiting) also has the option of going through the DHS Ombudsman. I think the congress route is somewhat faster, but I'm not 100% sure.

@Frustrated74 Welcome to the forum. September 2016 is the best group, but I'm partial :)

Click on the small triangle next to your VJ name (top right hand corner of your VJ page)

Pick "My Timeline" from the drop down menu

Once you are on your timeline page -- click on "Edit Add my Entry" its in green -- upper left part of the screen, in a box.

That should let you edit your timeline with various dates from different stages and you can indicated your service center. Then you will get a personalized VJ estimate for adjudication.

Good luck!

Thanks. I don't think I can do it on my phone so will have to wait till I get back to my computer. Good to know I'm not the only one annoying that my petition is languishing at the Nebraska SC!!

Question: Has anybody had this happen to them...

I got a letter telling me that my case was transferred from Nebraska to Texas.  I am out of range since my PD was Sept. 1st.  I called USCIS today and they told me that it is showing that my case was transferred to Texas but it is still saying that it is in Nebraska.  When I called she said she needed to send me to a Supervisor, but they were to busy to do so at that time so I need to call back in the morning.  Is there anything else I can do on top of calling back.  To me it sounds like my case has been missed placed.

I cannot take this anymore and do not understand.

I have also e-mailed my congress person and got no response.

:(

The problem is that mine is not supposed to be there anymore.  It is supposed to be in Texas, but it seems it is missed placed.

This is where my problem is.
