Donald Trump may have accepted the invitation of Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto for a Wednesday meeting in Mexico City, but the Republican presidential nominee is getting the cold shoulder in a country where public views of its own president are already abysmally low.

The Trumps settled the fraud lawsuit, which neither Simms nor Sapol joined, and denied wrongdoing. The terms of the deal are confidential.

Trump isn't getting things done. He's trying to undo things he already did. Subtle difference, and I realize that's probably difficult for someone who still has trouble grasping the obvious, but perhaps the realization that he needs more than just the angry vote is not lost on Trump after all.

Mexicans have felt offended by what has been said, but I am certain that his genuine interest is in building a relationship, Peña Nieto said of Trump. In return, the real-estate mogul-turned-politician framed his push for a border wall as a joint effort to end the movement of illegal drugs, weapons, and funds across our border.
