How Often Do They Update Case Status Online?

Hi everyone!

Just wondering how often they update case statuses online? We got our NOA 1 last month and it still just says that it's been received. Just wondering what the next update will be. Thanks-Ally

They will update when you get approved or get a RFE.

Also, if you go on the USCIS site and have your account made and link it to your K1 visa receipt number from the processing center, on the page where it shows you your case, click on the case number in blue at the bottom left of the screen, it should take you to another page. Either will say "received", "RFE", or even approved. thats how i found out mine cause just putting in the receipt number for some reason did not show me the results. just a thought.

When you register on USCIS' webpage and add your receipt number you get the option of choosing to get an email when something new happens to your case (NOA2 or RFE in your case). I prefered doing that than checking my case status over and over.
