Hello,

Sorry I checked the forum but I couldn't find a topic that answers my question. I am filling the DS 160 form to apply for a B2 visa. In the section Previous US Travel, it is asking for the date last visa was issued. I've been to US in 2010 with a J1 visa. However; I've got three other passports since then and I don't have my old passport with US visa on it any more. So I don't know the exact date when my last visa was issued. What should I answer to that question? Do you think it is ok to type in an estimated date or would that cause to rejection of my visa application. If it does, what is the fastest way to get the information about my last issued US visa.

Thanks in advance..

I believe you can provide an estimate -- like month/year. If the CO asks, just explain you no longer have the copy of the visa and provided an estimated date. It's a reasonable answer since it was more than 5 years ago.

I'm almost sure it has an option for "Do not know" for visa number.
