I'm hoping to get some advise from those who were denied K1 visa the first time and ended up doing another K1 visa for the same fiance.

I'm wondering if they had any success or not? what they advise?

and those who decided to just do the CR1 as apposed to the K1 why?

I'm wanting to get advise from those who have gone through the Ghana embassy or who at least have knowledge about the Ghana Embassy since Its a tough one. Please if you have recently experience this or know anyone who has will you please help me.

Thanks.

It's always advisable to get married and go cr1 route.almost all people I know who went cr1 after k1 denial was 100%success unless something new comes up like fraudulent stuff. There's no point in k1 again in Ghana because they can refuse u for same reasons. I don't have any personal experience but just an advise. Good luck.

We did the K-1 but got denied. CO's comment on our file says she suspects we have a "sham marriage to evade immigration laws". Now, I am not an immigration lawyer but the fact that CO's statement has marriage somewhere says to us that, another K-1 would hit a rock.

So we decided to get married and file for CR-1. We are not done yet.

When you filed your I-130 petition did you also write to embassy and also wrote a letter of withdrawal to stop all the work and process on your petition? If not you need to do both.
