Looking through all the timelines people here add to their signatures, I dont see anyone showing a date they filed the I-129 (Petition for Alien Fiance). Is this not needed if you DCF out of Manila or am I just missing something?

Wife and I are about to get the CRBA/US passport for our 4 month old I was waiting till we get back the babys passport to file the I-130 for the wife. However today I run across this I-129 form and not sure if i need it or not. I've been living with my wife (of over 2 years) here in the philippines for over 3 years now. Time has come to migrate back to the states.

Thanks for the info!

Are you filing for your wife or fiancee?

If wife, you have to file I-130

Read here about I-130 Petition for Alien Relative:

https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/international-offices/philippines-uscis-manila-field-office

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Thanks for the reply. I'd still like to hear from someone who DCF'd out of Manila and if they submitted a I-129 or not.

I already pointed you to the official USCIS website link, showing only I-130 petition is needed to be filed for spousal visa

You're right, I stand corrected. Its 2am here, I should probably get some sleep. Looking at all these forms and fields is making me dizzy. Thank you for the reply and correct answer to my concern.
