Hello Vj members,

I just got a call from my friend who is in the process of lifting is condition on his green card that he got arrested for DUI. Please can anyone that has experienced this situation or knows someone who has been in the same situation tell me the consequence of him getting the DUI and also is it going to affect his green card and also when filling for citizenship.

Do your friend a favor and tell them to lawyer up with an attorney that is acquainted with DUI litigation and immigration law. Hard to say if it will affect his immigration work, given the paucity of information given by you.
