Approved! Fairly simple and jovial interview this morning in Los Angeles.

My best wishes to all of you in the process. The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is very real :)

Will be following this thread with less frequency now, but feel free to PM me with questions if you have any. I've been through the EAD expedite process so I can always be a resource for that.

Congrats bluematter!!!

We were approved on the spot today as well, in DTLA.

The wait was about one hour and the interview about 50 mins, but about last half of the interview was plain conversation, and the interviewer was quite friendly,

My husband and I just walked over to our mailbox after I received an e-mail and text in regards to my case. I just couldn't believe that the moment was there. I opened the mailbox and the envelope with my Permanent Residence card was in there :dancing: I feel so blessed and my husband and I are just over the moon that it went so fast and that this was the moment. For how long should I have to wait til they scheduled it

Days or months, depending on the case load at your local field office.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Quick question to peoples who had the interview

What was the papers they ask you to bring with u ??!!!

amarsolo, when you get your interview notice, it will list all of the dox you have to bring, unless you've already submitted them when filing - then you don't have to bring them again.

For supporting dox, bring any that you think will substantiate your relationship, examples:

Driver licenses / driving records with same address

Up to 6 months statements from joint bank account

Joint rental lease/mortgage

Utility bills

Phone bills

Life, health, car insurances

Affirmation letters supporting your relationship from two U.S. citizens

Checks from any big joint purchases

Photos of both of you with family members &/or friends

thank you , am glad you got your SSC and hope your id wont take to long i applied for my id on 11/23 and still don't have my id, altho i have my green card. the BMV is notoriously slow with documents, well at least in my experience.

green card took 7 days from approval to in hand

Texas Is pretty quick, so we will see.

As for Green card, it will be a year before we have an interview. Houston USCIS office is so backed up, but that is okay, He can work, and have a pretty normal life till interview.
