We were here worrying and praying and God already had it worked out! I checked the tracking on our case numbers this morning and there was nothing. I was getting more and more discouraged. I happened to check about 2 hours later and then I saw that the EAD tracking was updated! We didn't get the electronic notice until this morning but it was actually approved on 11/30/16 (Day 69)! We are waiting to see if the AP has also already been approved and when the card will be mailed! The job search is starting in earnest now! Thank you everyone for your support!

So I can make a trip to my country now or should I have to wait for the I tervieux

You can make a trip to your country before the interview with your advanced parole, with the guarantee that your application process will not be considered void. But it is tricky because the advanced parole ONLY guarantees that the USCIS process will still honor your pending case, it does NOT guarantee that the immigration officer who you encounter on the way back into the united states will grant you entry. In theory, if you have no history of abusing any visa status and no suspicious activity, you should be fine. But some people with straightforward, clean slates have encountered issues.

I have friends who are afraid to make family weddings/events abroad because they are not sure if their K1 spouse will have issues re-entering, despite having advanced parole.

I wish they did not make the advanced parole so vague and UNreassuring! My husband plans to travel back to Canada to handle some important things with school, work, errands and we are hoping the AP re-entry should be ok but who knows for sure. He has legal status in Canada on student visa but he is not Canadian, so we don't know if that makes it tricky.

Perhaps you can search the visajourney and ***removed*** websites to see experiences of those who have traveled to your country with the advanced parole?

Congrats! It seems many people are getting their cards in the mail soon after receipt of approval. That is what happened to us. It was so funny, because we got a text notification so late in the evening (when clearly the mail man was not making runs at 11:00PM lol!)

We're still waiting too, although we have already been scheduled for interview... wondering if the EAD will be approved before the interview or at all now.

same here. im in LA too and they skipped all the steps so I went directly from "Fingerprint fee received" to "Interview is scheduled". I havent heard anything from EAD and AP though either.

This has to be a big joke...

my status changed today to, CARD WAS DETERMINED AS UNDELIVERABLE BY POST OFFICE.... I received everything else perfectly fine from the USCIS... and now this. I am sure those idiots put down a wrong address and try to blame me for it.. I am so sick and tired of this whole process...

I can only think that maybe a call in to a Tier 2/Supervisor would help :/

Called the USCIS already and put in a service request... Told them this is ridiculous and I need my EAD card because my new Job starts January 2nd. He said I should hear something by dec 20th... This is so stupid, I might not be able to start my new job because of their mistake....
