It has been over a month since biometrics and still nothing. Trying to stay calm. My husband called USCIS and they said we have to wait until 75 days and do an inquiry. They also said our case has not been transferred to Albuquerque yet so they don't know when any interview might be coming up. They said that the wait at Albuquerque is 5 months for the green card though so at least that is comforting. Trying not to get too worried - I need my husband to get a job soon so I can leave the job that is making me physically (and mentally and emotionally) ill from stress.

Does he have a job offer already? If so, why don't you try and expedite?

Yes, that sounds about right and from the timelines I've been tracking and keeping an eye on, they seem to be averaging +/- 30 days from biometrics.

Does he have a job offer already? If so, why don't you try and expedite?

I wish he did, but so far all of the jobs he has applied for have screening questions asking if he is authorized to work in the US. We don't want to lie and say he is. He hasn't gotten far enough along in the process to even get an interview. Plus, he recently graduated with his MBA and he doesn't have nearly as much experience as they want. He is even trying companies that want associates and bachelors and no one has called him back. When he does get the work permit, I am going to have him sign up for a bunch of those professional staffing agencies and see if that works at least to get him started.

You clock stopped at the day you got the RFE e-mail and started again when they received the e-mail. So it'll come here shortly.

Have you put in an inquiry yet? They told my husband we could at day 75...

Yes, after day 75 you can do a SR online but it is very few who has to do that lately. Most get approved before that. (and then wait around 14 days for the card after that)
