Hi everyone!! Joining the forum.. Sent our AOS packet and confirmed delivered by UPS on Sept. 2. until now we are still waiting for texts/ emails from USCIS..

Receipt Date: Sept 2

NOA 1 Date: Sept 12 (received text/email)

NOA 1 copy rcvd: Sept 16

Biometrics Notice Date: Sept 17, received Sept 24

Successful walk-in: Sept 26

Oct 13- Case ready to be scheduled for interview

EAD/AP approved - Nov. 1/2 / Received EAD/ AP Combo Card- Nov. 15

50days from NOA1/ 64 days from receipt date.

January 30-  USCIS Ap update, Interview sched on March 3, 2017

Jan 31 - received USCIS letter/ Notice for interview 

March 3- Interview, approved on the Spot

Just got notified that we will have our AOS interview on February 1st, in Detroit. Was hoping for no interview, but at least we'll have sooner rather than later.

Hello everyone! Thank you Georgia for the link.

I am also a K1 visa holder and now married here in the US. I have few questions regarding sending out my AOS application.

- Do we need to send again g25a? I864 affidavit of support?

- If we had a joint sponsor, do we need to the all the same paper works again?

- When shall i update my address? before or after sending my aos?

Follow the aos from k1 guide. It won't be the same paperwork, but some of the same forms, some new ones, all of them with updated information such as your address

12/03/19... I751 got transferred to NVC

12/07/19... Received BIO appointment letter for N400

12/27/19... Bio for N400

We want to send ours on Friday but the employee verification for my second job is taking forever. :\

10-20-2016 Received RFIE for Affidavit of Support (dated 10/14/2016 on the letter)

10-21-2016 Sent out RFIE back to Department of Homeland Security with Co-Sponsor.

10-31-2016 Response to RFE was received.

11-15-2016 EAD & AP approved! :)

Haven't got all my noa1 in the mail yet only the i765 that my landlord gave me on the 12th I checked the mail today and nothing am so worried sigh well I had chose the wrong category on my i765 so I mailed a letter notify them that I would like to change it from a9 to c9 so they will get it Friday I hope it gets resolve m i don't get rfe I hope to get the rest of noa1 copies soon best a luck guys

It's been a crazy ride lol. What employee verification? Do you need that for the sponsor form?

Ah good news, the NOA hardcopies show that indeed everything was received on 08/30 and processed 09/02. But this means I get to use 08/30 for the EAD and calculating my 75 and 90 days.... I think I'm going to be offered a contract either next week or the week after, though, so I'll try to expedite the work permit as soon as I have confirmation from the workplace!

I feel completely at home here, can't remember exactly how I was living a different life only 4 weeks ago! Feels like so long ago now
