It just might be different algorithms used in the apps.

Just got notified that we will have our AOS interview on February 1st, in Detroit. Was hoping for no interview, but at least we'll have sooner rather than later.

Hi guys, I have a question.

Will RFE of I-485 delay any process of EAD and AP?

That depends, is it a request for initial evidence (RFIE)? If so, then yes - none of the processes will move forward until you've responded successfully.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

 

K1 process

9/24/15: I129f sent

9/30/15: NOA1

11/2/15: NOA2

Delayed processing due to work

3/15/16: Medical

4/28/16: Interview (approved)

Delayed entry due to work

8/12/16: POE Detroit

 

9/4/16: Wedding!

 

AOS process:

9/9/16: I485/I131/I765 sent

9/14/16: Received 3xNOAs by text/e-mail (day 2)

9/14-18/16: Received 3xpaper NOAs 

9/23/16: Received biometrics appointment letter (day 11)

10/3/16: Biometrics appointment (day 19)

11/4/16: EAD+AP approved (day 53)

11/16/16: EAD status changed to card shipped (day 65)

11/17/16: EAD/AP combo card received (day 66)

12/30/16: Notice of interview scheduled (day 109)

2/1/17: AOS interview (day 142) - APPROVED

Btw I did not summit my i693 med form should I wait for an RFE or just send it?

I made a decision to wait and after researching realize it was better to send it all together. I had to get my medical done.

You have to wait. They might just ask you to bring it to your interview.

you dont have to send form I-693.

actually its best to not send it in with the aos packet, hence so many aos filers have delays and the I-693 expires after 1 year....

( i didn't send mine and i received a letter in the mail stating " Notice to Applicant " you didn't submit the completed and signed form I-693 ) You have to submit it at a later date at interview or if interview is waived you will receive a rfe for form I-693 )

June 23, 2016 - Mailed I-130, I-864w, I-485, I-765, I-131

June 24, 2016 - package delivered to Chicago Lockbox via Priority Express mail, Recieved and signed by R. Mercado ( Day 0)

June 28th, 2016 - Money-orders cashed ( Day 4)

July 4th, 2016 - NOA Received by text (x4 ) and email (x4) at 11:44 PM

case accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing ( Day 10)

July 7th, 2016 - Hardcopy Received NOA x 4 ( Day 13)

July 15th, 2016 - Received Biometrics letter, Appointment set for July 29th ( Day 21)

July 26th, 2016 - All 4 receipt numbers are working on the uscis mycase now ( Day 32)

July 28th, 2016 - Biometrics walk in Successful ! at 12:45 and was done at 01:10 (Day 34 )

Aug 5th, 2016 - Case update online ( RFIE-I-485 , Rejected form I-864w and wanted form I-864 instead ) (Day 42 ) put on hold

Aug 11th, 2016 - RFIE received in the mail

Sep 27th, 2016 - Send Response to RFIE at 9:18 a.m.

Thanks for the info.

I had a RfE on i130 and replied and got my approval yesterday. Did my biometrics and told finger prints cleared.

Now waiting patiently for next step.

Having my medical done in the meanwhile in 2 weeks.
