Timeline

3 years and 10 months together.

3 years of joint IRS returns

3 plus years of statements of joint checking & savings.

4 Joint credit cards,

Life insurance on each other

Him added to my auto insurance

Him added to my Dental insurance

Him as beneficiary on my life insurance at work

Joint insurance on our apartment

And a few other tid-bits just to front load. Forgot to add in some pictures though, left them in the car when I took the plastic container of paperwork into post office to fit into a box.

Oh okay then it make sence. Normally you don't send the evidence now but bring it to the interview:)

Yes, but we have Red flags, and wanted to show them a long and ongoing relationship, before and after we married. Its going to be a rough journey, I feel it, others say no, but I say YES.

and we are adjusting from a visitors visa, long out of status.

Even sent the Sams cards, haaaaa....

I have a copy of the petitions we filed, we also sent his medical exam too that he had a month or so ago performed by a Civil Surgeon on USCIS list.

I think when like us file for AOS from a tourist visa, I though we had to send all, as I went by the lists here on VJ.

You'd think I would know, been here since 2009 under another name, that part of my life went down in flames.

That's what everyone says, we have a long period of time together. Have to take it day by day, only way to do this process.

In meanwhile, already started a new evidence box for interview. That is one thing, I know will happen, interview. And would welcome them for a home visit too

That's great all worked out there for your sister and parents ♥

Not worried about the overstay, his visa expired Sept 2012 , that will be forgiven.

Its the red flags, but they can be explained, at least him & I have clean back grounds on the back ground checks. We both come from good families, and have close family ties, active in the community and generally all around good people. Even had letters from friends and family do statements of our marriage. I know those don't make or break a case, but added then anyways.

Red flag is age gap, 20 years older then him, BUT I sure don't look it, I'm 51 and he is 31, ( no laughing please) and I filed before with USCIS, my ex husband for #1 was not properly divorced for immigrating purposes per USCIS, he had a Revocable 1st divorce, I found that out by an RFE, that there made our marriage legal only in Egypt, not USA, and then he married his ex wife while married to me When he could not and would not produced a FINAL divorce decree is when he ran back to her during the time period of time given to reply to the RFE.

I presented the proof of that when I sent this petition for my husband to show my ex the dirty rotten skunk fart was a scammer. When he could not and would not produced a FINAL divorce decree is when he ran back to her.

So now you know why I'm chewing my nails already.

Hello everyone! Thank you Georgia for the link.

I am also a K1 visa holder and now married here in the US. I have few questions regarding sending out my AOS application.

- Do we need to send again g25a? I864 affidavit of support?

- If we had a joint sponsor, do we need to the all the same paper works again?

Goodluck and congratulations to everyone.

About the age gap, do not worry. From all the evidence you have and sent you prove a good bona fide relationship.

Did you consult with a lawyer about the other red flag about the ex-husband ?

No, it was a clear-cut case. I have official docs from Egypt showing when he married her.

I also submitted a copy of his Bill of Divorce, along with all correspondents from USCIS on the RFE.

I also threw in a on line correspondent from an attorney stating that USCIS was correct, our marriage was not legal in USA.

Along with a explanation of what happened along with some evidence to show he scammed me and his own family there
