As predicted... we just got hit with the infamous RFIE.

I'm 99% sure it's for that computer glitch problem I found in the I-864 form.

I'll update everyone once we get the hardcopy. I'm prepared to respond next day if it is lol

Just got notified that we will have our AOS interview on February 1st, in Detroit. Was hoping for no interview, but at least we'll have sooner rather than later.

Hello! I am just giving you guys an update, my I-485 is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

"As of October 19, 2016, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC16xxxxxxxx, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

I did not check yesterday because I thought nothing will change yet since it's not even a week that I did my biometrics. That was fast and I am so excited now!

Just curious, is it normal that my I-485 case status is still sitting at "Fingerprint fee was recieved" over a week after we had the medical?

I guess it's not an RFE so that's good.

Yes, thats normal until they schedule the interview or approve your I-485. As long as it is not an RFE your good, it can delay the processing.

Glad to see it's moving for some!

Still nothing since biometrics, and still waiting to hear back from the EAD expedite request. I requested it a week ago and sent everything last Friday, so tomorrow would mark 5 working days since they received everything (I wasn't able to fax the documents until the afternoon on Friday so I don't count it as a day they worked on it...). It'd be nice to hear back whatever their decision...

10/05: Fingerprint fee accepted (Day 9)

10/06: Checks have been cashed (Day 10)

10/06: NOA (text and email) for I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 at 9:25pm (Day 10)

10/11: Receipt numbers work online (Day 15)

10/31: Biometrics Appointment scheduled for 11/10 (Day 35)

11/10: Biometrics Appointment (Day 45)

12/01: Interview scheduled for January 5  (Day 66)

I'm not sure I understand your question. But the counting date is the received date.

it's normally 90 days from that but have seen it gone faster in the July/August filers.

If you hit the 75 days you can do a service request online.

How do I sign up for a notification? I didn't even know that they were scheduling my I-485 yesterday already lol.

On their website where you check your case or at the app.

Being from NY I hope your wait won't be crazy long.
