What does it say in the report?

She can pull the I-864 and then your case will be denied.

Yeah well it's just easy money to them! ... Really don't get people are using them unless they of course have a very complicated case.

And most of the paperwork fill-in work is done by their paralegal/assistant and they just review it.

Unless the person has a complicated case, is not good with forms or just doesn't want to deal with it.. DIY is the way to go if you can invest the time and effort into it

I just answered that one.

How about figure it out with your wife or get your life back on track instead of the immigration right now?

Hello all! Im new in here but i found this forum very helpful. I just have a question regarding the I-485 that i filed for my wife. Priority date is Aug 29, 2016, biometrics done on Sept 27, 2016.

I received an update on the case status check that said

"As of October 4, 2016, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, receipt # MSCxxxxxxxx For interview"

My question is, how long will it usually take to get an interview, and also for the EAD, will it come after interview or before

? And how come i cant seem to add the receipt numbers for I-765 from the case status check ? Does it really take a long time? If they are scheduling us does that mean that i wont be receiving any RFE for that initial interview? Thank you so much!

The wait for the interview depends of your local office some are fast and only wait 1 months and others are slow and have a year wait.

EAD can be approved before the interview. No one can tell if it will before or not again it depends on how long your wait is but probably before.
