Likely the 1st October (Saturday) though regrettably it just got sent standard first class mail so we can't be sure

It's only been 13 days and out of that only 9 business days today. It'll come soon.

Just got notified that we will have our AOS interview on February 1st, in Detroit. Was hoping for no interview, but at least we'll have sooner rather than later.

Not yet... not sure if I should call in to ask if something has been sent out yet or not. Another filer with the Los Angeles local office who is about 2wks ahead of me had their biometrics scheduled for Oct 3rd. I just want to make sure I'm proactive and stay on top of things.

I may call in tomorrow just to ask.

Ok. Thanks. We have the same timeline so i just make it sure that my bio letter is delayed.

We finally got our paper NOA'S after 22 days. I am not sure what happened but at least they are finally here. Should we call in about the biometrics letter? I am afraid that we won't get it until after the appointment date or something...

congrats!! i am still waiting for my hard copies. It's been 21 days now :-(

Adjustment of Status from F1

09/21: Documents sent

09/23: Documents received according to USPS tracking

09/26: Case receipt (Day 0)

10/05: Fingerprint fee accepted (Day 9)

10/06: Checks have been cashed (Day 10)

10/06: NOA (text and email) for I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 at 9:25pm (Day 10)

10/11: Receipt numbers work online (Day 15)

10/31: Biometrics Appointment scheduled for 11/10 (Day 35)

11/10: Biometrics Appointment (Day 45)

12/01: Interview scheduled for January 5  (Day 66)

12/03: Interview appointment in mail (Day 68)

12/13: AP approved (Day 78)

12/13: New card is being produced (EAD) (Day 78)

12/15: Card was mailed to me (Day 80)

I just called in to ask about biometrics scheduling...

Rep said my wife hasn't been scheduled as of yet but not to worry since it's still kind of early. He said within 30 days of the NOA1 date we should receive the notice... so to call back after 10/29 if we haven't received anything by then.

He also said the case status online would update with a message that biometrics are scheduled... (not sure I believe that one since I haven't seen anyone post that). I could be wrong, if anybody wants to chime in on that...? lol

In any case, I feel a bit more at ease that I at least checked up on it. I'll probably call back in another week if we don't hear anything - just to keep tabs on it :thumbs:

No worries. I looks like these days it is pretty normal to wait two to three weeks until you get your noa's

Yeah, I figured that was not true since I hadn't seen anything mentioning that in any posts.

Guess I'll just keep tabs on it every week just to make sure we don't get one of those "lost in the mail and never received" hiccups lol

We are quite confused because here is our current status :

On October 14, 2016, we certified the approval of your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC....., and sent it to the appropriate appellate office. That office will send you a final decision. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

We just received an appointment for biometrics on 10/28 and we could get approved without an interview?

Can't reach USCIS on saturday, hopefully this is not a mistake.

Haven't seen this one before and did some research here and there and it seems like people got their GC not long after.

Does it exactly say what the problem was? Never got one on my K1 process

The paper copy will tell you exactly what they need from you.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.
