Just got notified that we will have our AOS interview on February 1st, in Detroit. Was hoping for no interview, but at least we'll have sooner rather than later.

FBI takes 30 days for checking backgrounds. Timelines I've seen, they get EAD approval email/text 30 days after BIO.

I was expecting a touch to signify they'd at least updated my case with the fact I went? Like, added the confirmation I turned up to my file....

After the biometrics it's usually just a waiting game from that point on; unless you get an RFE, the case status won't update until Approval usually.

I have something to share.

You can call FBI to this number 304-6255590, but you need you A number. When you get an RFE, in the letter it says your A number. I called and they asked me when I sent the fingerprints (10/03/2016), but the CSR told me they haven't open any document from Oct. They're working on Aug/Sep files.

July 1st, 2019  10 YEAR GREEN CARD APPROVED

July 5th, 2019   Approval letters for I-130 & I-485 received in the USPS  mail.

Good luck everyone! I'm "really" hoping to join in on the Sep filers... just waiting on the certified copy of the marriage certificate to be ready. They said it's probably at least another 2 weeks.

Just an update, just now our case is ready to be scheduled for interview. I was actually hoping we will not be interviewed and get approved but interview is fine. I am not worried.

Not yet... not sure if I should call in to ask if something has been sent out yet or not. Another filer with the Los Angeles local office who is about 2wks ahead of me had their biometrics scheduled for Oct 3rd. I just want to make sure I'm proactive and stay on top of things.

Just tried to do a early walk-in in Tampa. No chance, there was like 50 people already here at 7:30am. Guess I gotta wait until Wednesday lol
