It is Day 16 and we still don't have any NOA's. Both of us called USCIS and they said that they did receive the documents and that we should have gotten the NOA's already in the mail. They did give us our current receipt numbers at least for all 4 petitions (it took like 6 calls to get them all). They also confirmed that our mailing address is correct in their system. I guess we just have to keep on waiting for the NOA's.

Can see you did get one of them.

Did you send in the G-1145?

Snail mail, seems to be a lot of that this month. At least you have all your receipt numbers and know they have your paperwork... :dancing:

Hi! I'm new here. I'm curious what number did you call? Do you have tips on how to get actual assistance when you call? We have proof of delivery from UPS that our AOS package was delivered to Chicago on 9/27/16. As of today we have not received any texts nor emails, and our checks have not been deposited. Wondering if there's anything we can do to ensure our application package has not been lost....

Thanks!

Even if you call, as one poster found out, they told her they have nothing in her name or her husbands name in computer, 2 days later they received their NOA1 RECEIPTS. Hers delivered Sept 23 and just got NOA1 10/06/2016 Give it more time.

Has everyone started a new Evidence bin for the ones adjusting from a Tourist Visa that filed a I-130 along with the I485 form?

We send in all kinds of evidence from Check-saving joint account, 4 joint credit cards, Utility bills joint, Life insurance on each other, Auto insurance, Him on my policy as a NON DRIVER, and tons more.

At the time, I did not know that we should bring that to interview. Oh well , they have it ahead of time.

My husband has a ITIN number, that way we filed joint taxes for past 3 years together, and I used his ITIN to add him on my insurance.

As for banking, we told them we are starting the immigration process, and they just added him with no SS# or ITIN... that was 4 years ago

We even got a joint account at Crest Financial with his ITIN # and my SS# and bought some new living room furniture.

I had my bios done at Brooklyn office a little over a week ago, it's one of the busiest and apparently really difficult to get a walk in, so I just stuck to my appointment, it was at 9am and I got there for 8:40am there were already people arriving for 10am & 11am appointments and they were advised to sit in the waiting area until it was closer to their appointment time then they would be called to line up where you hand in your appointment letter and ID before being sent to the bio area! Can you imagine the number of people that must process through that office a day??

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Lol good old Brooklyn customer service!!!! honestly I still cannot get used to how rude some people can be! My husband finds it amusing how mad I get but I am British and we say please and thank you for everything we even apologise when it's not our fault! Lol

It might be worth waiting for your official appointment, your application is still processing, I don't think getting your biometrics done before your scheduled appointment speeds anything up or slows it down! :-)
